The Faculty of Teacher Education at Petra Christian University successfully hosted the Petra International Conference on Christian Education (PICCE) 2026 on 9–10 April 2026, bringing together international scholars and educators to discuss the theme, “From Character to Competence: Preparing Early Childhood and Elementary Education for a Smart Society.”
Featuring speakers from the United States, Canada, Australia, and Taiwan, the conference explored key topics including Christian character formation, school–parent partnerships, and the responsible use of AI in education. The event also showcased research through the Call for Papers and Student Symposium, where Faculty of Teacher Education students presented their work to an international audience, highlighting their growing contribution to global educational research.
